Key Features

1. Automatic Tag Matching

Samplism features a breakthrough technology that automatically categorizes audio samples into tags. With Samplism, you don’t need to waste your time anymore on manually categorizing your audio files. Just drag and drop directories on your Mac into Samplism. All audio samples are automatically categorized into tags. It’s practically a magic.

2. Search for Audio Samples using Tags and Auto Tags

3. Manual Tag Matching

The automatic tag matching feature in Samplism allows you to quickly and conveniently classify audio samples into tags. But sometimes the matching results may not be accurate. With the manual tagging feature, you can classify samples more precisely.

7. Files View

The Files View allows you to simply and quickly search for audio samples on a directory-basis.

8. Simplism: the Samplism mini player

Simplism is designed to use with DAWs or other audio apps together on a single monitor screen. It takes up very little space on your screen and still provides most key features of Samplism such as navigating, previewing and searching for your audio samples.

9. Export Audio Samples

With Samplism, exporting as audio files has never been easier. Simply select audio samples, the waveform selection, or transient regions. Samplism provides various export options such as file type, sample rate and bit depth. With just a click, all selected samples are automatically converted as audio files, which can be used in other DAWs.

  1. I love Samplism. This is essential to my production.
Thank you for the great product.

And I have two requests to improve Samplism.

One: “Copy and paste multiple tags”
Two: “Leave markers and notes on the audio waveform”

Keep up the good work, Thanks!

  2. Hey,

Nice work! It’d also be super useful to have a “save window state/loction” feature. So when I’m working on a project I can simply move between different types of samples quickly without creating project-specific tags.

    1. Hi, Duane.
In the App Store app, search for “Samplism” app. In the “Samplism” app page, you will see the “Update” button.
Just click it. Then the app will be updated to the latest version v1.8.2.

  3. Hi,

complement to my further reply: “Shoe folder list view” does not work, “Show Auto tag List View” does not work once hidden. Version 1.8.2

    Kind regards

  5. How do I search for exact words?
For example, when I search by typing

    I get

What is the syntax to just return rain?

  6. Would love to see BPM & Key of samples listed + Syncing to a DAW as a plugin.. Waiting on these features so i can finally get rid of the bloated sample managers. Like that this program is very stripped down and to the point.

    1. We are really sorry about that.
Although we plan to provide an online manual and tutorial videos on our website, we don’t have much time to do it because of a lot of features to update.
Anyway, they will be available later.
Until then, please contact us anytime if you have any questions.

  7. Love the progress, also UI is miles ahead of all the other library managers I’ve seen. It would great if you guys could expand upon some the DAW integration features, being able to rewire or run a separate with the repitching and filtering by BPM range would be massive. Loop Cloud, Noiiz, Splice… basically every current option is too focused on pushing their own samples to be particularly useful for people with large pre-existing libraries

  8. Hi !
Please could you add a “date added” column or at least a “date created”. Otherwise when I create new samples I can’t find them…

And also, why can’t we select more than 2 tags at the same time (Tag + Auto Tag) ?

    Liked by 2 people

    1. First off, we are really sorry about that.
Because we have a lot of great new features to implement, we don’t have enough time now to work on the features you requested.
But don’t worry. We promise that those features will be available later.
Please look forward to the future updates!

    2. Yes ! So important to be abble to tag as many as we need ! Make it real !!! (basic ex: #synth #analog #bass, or #snare #electronic #2020) ….

      1. Hi. Could you add an option in the settings for the left and right arrow keys to fast forward and rewind sound instead of playing the sound normally or in reverse so that users can choose what in more convenient for them?
