It’s been a long time since our last update, and we wanted to take a moment to share a brief message with those of you who have been wondering how we’ve been doing.

We originally planned to release Samplism 2 by 2025, but unfortunately, that timeline was not met.

I personally dislike making excuses, but this time, I feel one is unavoidable.

First and foremost, I sincerely apologize.

While I can’t go into specific details, 2025 turned out to be a more challenging year for our team than we had anticipated. As a result, some team members were no longer able to continue with us, and naturally, this made it difficult to stay fully focused on development.

That said, most of the major challenges have now been resolved.

We are ready to return to our original mindset and move forward with a single, clear goal: to create a truly great app.

To everyone reading this, I would like to once again express my sincere apologies. At the same time, we promise to make it up to you with a better, more refined app in 2026.

We’re not sure how many of you have been eagerly waiting for Samplism 2.0, but our team has been working hard to create the best audio sample management app. There’s no special reason—it’s simply our goal to make the best.

Originally, we mentioned that Samplism 2.0 would be released in the winter of 2024, but unfortunately, we’re going to need a bit more time. We hope you can understand.

The development of Samplism 2.0 is progressing smoothly, but we need a little extra time to ensure we deliver the best performance and features possible.

Samplism 2.0 isn’t just an upgrade from version 1.0. It’s been completely rebuilt from the ground up, with everything new—technically, functionally, and design-wise. Of course, if you’ve used Samplism before, you’ll still find it just as easy to use.

We’re working hard to make sure that the first time you launch Samplism 2.0, it brings a smile to your face.

So rest assured, our team is fully focused on Samplism 2.0, and we’re aiming for a release in 2025. Please be patient with us just a little longer.

In Samplism v1.9.7, the exporting/collecting features becomes more optimized on Apple Silicon Macs.

According to our test,

Exporting all built-in Apple Loops libraries (30557 samples in 46 libraries) on M1 Mac Mini is 3.8x faster than on the previous version.

You may think that releasing a new cool feature is more important than this kind of things, but we believe that optimization is the best we should care about.

Of course, we’re currently working really hard for great new features:)
